Donald Trump‘s reaction to his debate with Kamala Harris and rallies has been mocked by the makers of The Boys.

In an Instagram post on the Vought International account, which was originally set up as a marketing tool for the Amazon Prime Video series, a picture of the character Homelander at a packed rally is on show.

Alongside it is a caption, which uses language similar to Trump, in a subtle dig at the former US president.

It states: “Contrary to recent ‘reporting’ from the lamestream media, Homelander’s recent rallies have been PACKED with patriots. Here’s a photo from one just yesterday, where he presented a concept of a security plan developed by Sister Sage. As you can see, no one here is leaving!”

It follows Trump and Kamala Harris’ TV debate earlier this week in which Harris invited voters to go to a Trump rally to see people leave early due to “exhaustion and boredom”.

This led him to accuse the vice-president – without providing evidence – of paying people to attend her campaign events and say “people don’t go to her rallies”.

Recently Trump also lashed out over what he saw as double standards between the coverage of his campaign and that of his opponent.

“If Kamala has 1,000 people at a Rally, the Press goes ‘crazy,’ and talks about how ‘big’ it was – And she pays for her ‘Crowd.’” Trump wrote on Truth Social (via Newsweek). “When I have a Rally, and 100,000 people show up, the Fake News doesn’t talk about it, THEY REFUSE TO MENTION CROWD SIZE. The Fake News is the Enemy of the People!”

Following the debate, the Trump campaign also publicly claimed that he won, according to The Guardian despite polling for CNN (via Sky News) showing Harris’ favourability ratings up and one TV commentator describing Trump’s performance as being “as bad as Biden” following his previous head to head with the current president earlier this year.

Meanwhile, Trump was roundly mocked with The Simpsons and Peep Show memes after he claimed that immigrants were abducting pets and eating them during the debate.

Elsewhere, The Boys actress Valorie Curry recently appealed to fans to “respect boundaries” after having a “deeply uncomfortable” encounter during a Comic Con event in Northern Ireland.
