A slick partygoer at NYC hot spot the Mulberry on Thursday night tried to snap a picture of former soccer pro David Beckham and was called out of bounds.

Beckham and his best friend, David Garner, arrived to the buzzy Nolita establishment a little after midnight.

The duo were whisked to the bar’s ultra private Whisper Room, but it was apparently too quiet for Beckham — who preferred to “soak up the atmosphere” of the crowd, according to a source.

Becks chilled in a banquette near the DJ booth, as DJ David Katz spun tunes.

The legendary Manchester United star was dressed in the quintessential New York uniform — all black, we hear.

He largely went unnoticed until an eagle-eyed attendee on the dance floor spotted him and attempted to sneak footage of the British superstar.

We’re told Beckham didn’t notice the woman and her phone, but management certainly did.

They escorted her out to the empty street, we hear, where the local Feast of San Gennaro had already closed for the night.

Meanwhile, another dancing fan of the footballer fled the dance floor once she caught wind he was there to try and catch him.

Unfortunately, she only got a glimpse of his back as he swiftly exited the bar.

We hear Beckham kept exclaiming, “This place is New York!” of the place.

Regular patrons have included Jason Momoa, Axl Rose, Brad Pitt, Janet Jackson, Christian Siriano, Beck, B.J. Novak, Aubrey Plaza and Margot Robbie, among other celebs.
