Celebrity baby names can sometimes be a real journey. But Machine Gun Kelly took to his Instagram Stories on Monday (March 31) to clear up some confusion about what people apparently think he and his ex, Megan Fox, named their newborn baby girl. You see, some people thought that the little bundle of joy had been saddled with the awkward moniker “Celestial Seed.”
They were wrong, according to MGK.
And here’s where the confusion apparently set in. When Kelly, 34, announced last week in an Instagram post that he and former fiancée Fox, 38, had welcomed their first child together, he wrote, “She’s finally here!! our little celestial seed. 3/27/25,” he captioned the snap of his daughter gripping his fingers.
Then, following some chatter and headlines about baby Celestial Seed, MGK jumped into his Stories to clear things sup. In a slide featuring an apparent headline reading “Megan Fox has welcomed baby girl Celestial Seed,” MGK wrote, “wait guys… her name isn’t ‘Celestial Seed’ [crying laughing emoji] her mom is gonna tell you the name when we’re ready.”
The unnamed infant is MGK’s second daughter and Fox’s fourth child; she has three children with her ex-husband, actor Brian Austin Green. The couple began dating in 2020 and were on-and-off before breaking up in November 2024, following an engagement and the announcement that they were expecting a child together. The couple attempted to start a family several years earlier, but Fox suffered a miscarriage in 2022. MGK dedicated his performance of “Twin Flame” at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards to his “wife” and “unborn child.”
