Liam Gallagher is reportedly looking for some “established acts” to support Oasis on their upcoming reunion tour.

It comes as the Britpop legends recently announced news of their long-awaited reformation, and took the world by storm by announcing 2025 live shows.

Already, the ‘Oasis Live 25’ world tour has sold out all of its initially shared 14 stadium dates – set to take place between Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin next summer. Two extra shows in London have since been announced for September 2025, and tickets will be available to fans who were unsuccessful the first time around.

So far, there have been no support slots confirmed for the mammoth run of live shows, and fans have already begun speculating which artists could be selected to join Liam and Noel Gallagher as they head on tour.

According to a source speaking with The Independent, the brothers have yet to sit down and discuss who they’d like to support them at the gigs. That being said, Liam is reportedly eager for a few big names to join.

“Liam is keen for established acts so it will probably take a bit of back and forth before anything’s confirmed,” a source close to the band told the outlet.

They also dismissed rumours that Villanelle – the band fronted by Liam’s son Gene – would be taking on the slot. “They haven’t even discussed it,” they said, highlighting how the rising band already joined Liam Gallagher for his ‘Definitely Maybe’ tour dates.

Around the time that Oasis were teasing the reunion, Blossoms got fans talking when they shared the same teaser on their big concert screens as Liam and Noel. Appearing during their headline slot at Wythenshawe Park, the inclusion of the teaser led many to suspect that the Stockport band will be one of the support acts on tour with the band next summer. The band have also supported Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds previously.

Likewise, Kasabian were also one of the names thrown into the mix, as Serge Pizzorno was spotted with Liam backstage at Reading, ahead of the latter’s headline slot at the festival.

Manic Street Preachers – who supported Oasis during their iconic Knebworth 1995 shows – also teased new material last month (August 26), sharing a clip of new music on their social media and leading fans to think they could be enlisted again for the upcoming shows. Recently, Liam responded to a fan asking about the support slots on Twitter/X, saying that “most of them are proper zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz”.

In other Oasis news, the band recently shared a reissue of their debut album, ‘Definitely Maybe’, and faced backlash after fans scrambled to get tickets to their upcoming reunion shows. In response, the band distanced themselves from the huge price hikes that were introduced during the sale.

More recently, Noel Gallagher joined forces with Manchester City once again, this time sharing a new kit inspired by ‘Definitely Maybe’.
