“She’s thrilled to be pregnant again. It feels like the perfect timing to her. Her son will [be 3-years-old] when the new baby arrives,” the source added.

Lawrence already has Cy, 2, with Maroney, and the couple — who tied the knot in 2019 — are in a great place in their relationship.

The insider shared: “She’s very happy with Cooke. They are great together. He’s super chill and it rubs off on her.”

Lawrence, 34, recently announced her latest pregnancy via a Vogue Instagram post.

The message read: “Congratulations are in order for Jennifer Lawrence! The Oscar-winning actor will be welcoming her second child with art gallerist husband Cooke Maroney.”

Meanwhile, Lawrence previously admitted that she suffered self-doubts before giving birth to her baby boy.

The Hollywood star conceded that she didn’t know what to expect from motherhood and how she would cope with the challenge.

She told Vogue magazine in 2022: “It’s so scary to talk about motherhood. Only because it’s so different for everybody.

“If I say, It was amazing from the start, some people will think, It wasn’t amazing for me at first, and feel bad.

“Fortunately I have so many girlfriends who were honest. Who were like, ‘It’s scary. You might not connect right away. You might not fall in love right away.’ So I felt so prepared to be forgiving.

“I remember walking with one of my best friends at, like, nine months, and being like, ‘Everyone keeps saying that I will love my baby more than my cat.

“But that’s not true. Maybe I’ll love him as much as my cat?’”
