The Valley cast has been busy ahead of the premiere of its second season. Notably, Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor are going through a nasty divorce, and quite a bit of drama has come from it. Now, Jax is seemingly responding to an interview Brittany did where she detailed his alleged mistreatment of her. She also recently responded to a fan on social media who said she knew what to expect when she got with Jax.

Brittany recently appeared on the Hot Mic podcast, where she opened up about her issues with Jax and how he treated her while he was in rehab. During the interview, she also discussed hooking up with his friend.

Jax heard about Brittany’s interview on the podcast, which detailed his treatment of her. This seemingly prompted him to go to the gym to work off some steam, and he also took to social media with multiple Instagram Story posts.

The first post from Jax is of what looks to be a waterfall stock image with a text overlay. The text is a quote from Friedrich Nietzsche: “There will always be rocks in the road ahead of us. They will be stumbling blocks or stepping stones; it all depends on how you use them.”

In this post, he is almost certainly saying that his drama with Brittany will lead to something he deems as greater. However, it’s also a bit ironic, and maybe even hypocritical, given how everyone in their lives attests to him being the issue in the marriage. It has also been said that Brittany has never been better since leaving Jax.

The second post that seems to be related to Brittany’s tell-all interview shows Jax in the gym taking a mirror selfie. He’s wearing standard workout attire, including gray sweatpants, a black hoodie, and a black baseball cap. The caption reads, “When you are having a rough time, the gym never lets you down… even late at night.”

Jax Responds | From Instagram Stories

Brittany also recently took to social media to discuss her life. In an Instagram post, she remarked, “This has been the hardest year of my life, and this is just part of my story.” She added that she’s learning as she goes, and she’s trying to provide the best life possible for her son.

However, as is often the case on social media, at least one person had something negative to say in response. The person’s comment reads, “I am over this narrative. She knew who she married. She forgave him time after time for lying and cheating. She had a child with him. She needs to stop.”

Brittany responded, “You have no idea what a narcissistic relationship is like, and until you do, please don’t judge others. It has taken everything in me to break the cycle.”

Currently, there is no announced premiere date for season two of The Valley, but it’ll be interesting to see how the show handles the Jax and Brittany of it all.
