Dave Bautista denied “starving” himself to achieve his recent transformation.

The actor detailed his 75-pound weight loss on “Insight With Chris Van Vliet” last week, explaining that he was 315 pounds after filming “Knock at the Cabin Door.”

Since the former professional wrestler, 55, “put on the weight really fast” and felt “uncomfortably big,” he turned to fasting and calorie cutting to slim down.

Bautista only gives himself a “short window” to eat during the day as he intermittently fasts until 1 p.m.

When he does eat, the retired WWE star only consumes around 2,500 calories each day.

“I’m just not eating much. And I’m not starving or anything,” he clarified, noting that it took him “forever to shed” the weight.

The former athlete went on to clap back at claims he has an eating disorder.

“Because people have seen me so much bigger over the years, they think I’m, like, anorexic, but I’m just a large human being,” he said.

“I noticed, the more I trimmed down, the better I felt,” he added. “And I also noticed the more I trimmed down, the better I looked on camera, the better I looked next to other actors.”

Bautista stunned fans with his weight loss when he posed for red carpet pics at the Toronto International Film Festival earlier this month.

“The fact that he’s lost muscle in seemingly a healthy way is actually a massive accomplishment,” one X user wrote, with another adding, “As long as he’s healthy and happy is all that matters!”

Some social media users speculated that the “Glass Onion” star is on Ozempic, which he has yet to confirm nor deny.

In October 2021, Bautista described his diet — and the food groups he’s cut out — while speaking to Men’s Health.

The former mixed martial artist, who is “terribly allergic to dairy,” eats plant-based foods with eggs and “fish a couple times of the week.”

As for his workouts, he is a fan of jiu jitsu and boxing.
