Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater were spotted sharing a loving embrace inside the Oscars.
Photographers captured the private couple, who walked the red carpet separately, chatting and showing subtle PDA before the big show began on Sunday.
Grande, 31, sweetly wrapped her arms around Slater’s neck as he pulled her in close. The two held hands while talking to some of their “Wicked” collaborators.
While the 32-year-old wore a simple black-and-white suit, Grande looked ethereal in a pale pink corseted Schiaparelli ballgown.
The pop star, who wore her hair in a sleek bun, accessorized the voluminous couture piece with a stunning diamond choker and matching stud earrings.
Grande later changed into a custom sequined red strapless Schiaparelli gown –– with the back shaped to look like Dorothy’s classic red ruby slipper –– to perform with Cynthia Erivo
She changed one final time into a black sequin strapless gown with criss-crossed straps.
Earlier in the evening, Slater sang Grande’s praises when asked about her show-stopping opening performance alongside Cynthia Erivo.
“The one thing that I will say is to see these two women perform live is — anybody who’s been to any of their concerts — which a lot of people have been to both of their concerts, but they know those two can deliver in a way that nobody else can,” he told Entertainment Tonight. “And so, I’m really excited.”
After hearing about Slater’s “sweet” words, Grande told Extra that “his support has been such a gift.”
The “Positions” singer was nominated for best supporting actress for her role as Glinda in “Wicked,” which scored 10 nominations during Sunday night’s show — including best picture.
The couple began dating in July 2023 after meeting on set of the Jon M. Chu-directed film. Despite starring in the blockbuster hit, the two have kept most of their relationship out of the public eye.
However, they were also spotted snuggling up at the 2025 Screen Actors Guild Awards last week.
The co-stars-turned-couple was caught chatting during a brief break in the ceremony, with Slater holding Grande’s hand as he whispered in her ear.
Lip reader Nicola Hickling told the Daily Mail that Slater seemed to be protecting Grande from the bustling crowd as people rushed to move around the room.
“Stay near. This crowd next to me, they are pushing me,” he allegedly said.
Although the two rarely share insight into their romance, Slater has been Grande’s biggest supporter this awards season.
When the Academy Award nominations were announced, the Broadway actor posted a picture of his girlfriend, captioned, “Oscar. Nominated.”
