Sophia Allison plans on seeing as much of the world as she can in 2025. The singer-songwriter—who performs under the stage name Soccer Mommy—is currently on a world tour that will take her from Carrboro, North Carolina, all the way to Japan by the end of the year. The setlist is largely made up of songs from 2024’s Evergreen, her fourth and most recent album of lush bedroom pop, filled with gentle strings and intimately layered productions. After expanding her sound with more rock-forward releases like “Shotgun” and “Bones,” Evergreen signals a return to Allison’s early years performing solo, with just an acoustic guitar.
“I always want to put on a show that feels fun, but is also dynamic,” Allison tells Vogue. “But this album had some slower, more intimate songs, so on this tour I wanted to make sure they got their moment.”
On June 6, Allison will release a six-track EP featuring stripped-down versions of tracks from Evergreen—appropriately called Evergreen (stripped)—plus a track that didn’t make the original album: “She Is.” She’s touring Europe and Australia through the summer, will tour a second North American leg this fall, and end the year with two shows in Tokyo. With so much on the horizon, Allison took some time to share a selection of exclusive snaps from her life on the road.
