Kyle‘s Denim and Diamonds party is around the corner, but things with the group are still unsettled on this episode of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Dorit is feeling like Sutton’s behavior is the opposite of the sisterhood she is preaching and Erika is ready for a fresh start after four years in her home. A blast from the past adds fuel to the fire, setting Dorit off, demonstrating that she is not playing this season.
Jennifer hosts Kyle and Sutton at one of her two Bel Air homes. Kyle discusses her upcoming party, the first she has ever done without Mo. She is apprehensive not having him there as her co-host and she is feeling a little bit lost without him. The topic switches to the Oceanside trip and the blow up with Dorit. Kyle explains that she felt lighter after working through things with Dorit, but now Sutton has issues with her. Sutton simply wanted everyone in the group to understand that they could express their feelings without being ganged up, yet Dorit just kept talking about Teddi, completely missing the point.
Dorit, ever the hostess, “made some water” for Erika. She blames her exhaustion for her lack of effort and lets Erika know she has not talked to PK in two weeks. She feels overwhelmed by this separation and Erika understands that Dorit does not feel supported within the group. Dorit thinks it is hilarious that Sutton is leading this whole sisterhood charge, yet she is raising her voice at Dorit. Erika explains that she also “lost it” on Sutton in the Sprinter.
It seems like the point of Sutton’s sisterhood pact got lost in the sauce. Sutton simply wants the girls to stop talking behind each other’s backs, but now the issues have seemed to get bigger.
Garcelle is excited for her day ahead. It’s been three years in the making, but now Garcelle is finally ready to move into her beach house and Sutton is providing the U-Haul to help bring Garcelle’s things there. Essentially, Sutton and her assistant Avi are the moving company- a true gift to Garcelle and a true testament to their friendship.
After the 1 hour and 20 minute ride, they arrive to the new place. It is a beautiful home and a true reason to celebrate all of Garcelle’s successes. Garcelle understands how special this, especially as a single mom who has worked so hard to come to this point.
As they get to chatting, Sutton shares that the shifts within the group have been eating at her. She reminds Garcelle that she had a heart-to-heart with Dorit about divorce support, but then they later had that argument. Sutton knows that the group will have to be there to pick up the pieces and Garcelle muses about Dorit’s stolen jewelry a few years back. Garcelle states, “I don’t think Dorit had anything to do with that, but I think someone did. I think Dorit just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time.” Now what could Garcelle be insinuating…
Erika explains to her therapist that she wants to make her home a sanctuary now that she is ready to thrive. She lets her therapist know about the fight with Sutton and points out that Sutton’s personality is inconsistent. Erika explains that she got triggered by Sutton’s behaviors because of her knee-jerk reactions with the group of women. She goes on to remind her therapist that she did not receive the support that Kyle is getting when she was getting divorced; however, Erika understands that her behavior did not allow them to acknowledge the stuff she went through.
It’s the day of Kyle’s party and she is thrilled with the way it turned out. Camille is the first to arrive and they chat about Mo, although according to Kyle, Camille is projecting her experiences on her a bit. Sutton rolls up with her daughter, Porter, and her bestie, Jennifer. Is Dorit’s outfit vintage? She only said it like 17 times.
LOL at the fact that Kyle, the tattoo queen, has a tattoo artist on hand to give her guests some ink. As Garcelle preps for her tat, she lets Sutton know that she had a heartfelt convo with Kyle. And during that chat, Kyle told Garcelle that PK texts her. Garcelle thinks this could be problematic, but Sutton points out that Dorit does know they talk. Sutton wonders if Kyle feels closer to PK…
Dorit, Bozoma, and Erika settle in together and discuss the Sutton of it all. Boz wonders if they should bring everyone together since there is already beef amongst the ladies. She understands that in big groups, they just tend to argue. As if on cue, Sutton and company meander over. Sutton announces that she does not want the group to be disjointed. She talks of sisterhood (her buzz word), honesty, and requests that they stop talking behind backs.
Erika lets Sutton know that she is “volatile and inconsistent,” but Sutton disagrees calling herself truthful. When Dorit claims that Sutton overacts when she is stressed, Sutton “raises” her voice at Dorit. This sets Dorit off and she reminds Sutton that she will not be spoken to that way. Dorit does not feel like Sutton can be real and honest, so she cannot lead the sisterhood charge. Erika wants Sutton to lead by example when it comes to honesty. Dorit mocks Sutton’s voice and Sutton points out that Dorit is angry, but not at her: Dorit is angry at her life. Yep, sisterhood.
Dorit continues to let Sutton know she is not in a good place, but Sutton reminds Dorit it is not her fault that she is in that position. Dorit states that her life sucks right now, in all honesty, and she has “zero tolerance” for more bullsh*t. Sutton appreciates Dorit’s transparency and lets her know that she is not angry at her, but that Dorit doesn’t listen to understand the bigger point.
Boz jumps in to let Sutton know that we cannot weaponize moments of vulnerability. She points out how Sutton took the lowest part of Dorit’s life and stuck her with it. Camille adds that she didn’t get compassion and empathy from Dorit when she was at her lowest and Dorit spits out that Camille was a “total c**t” to her.
Camille, citing a 2017 scene, tells Dorit she called her a “f*cking c**t,” but Dorit corrects that, reminding Camille she jokingly referred to her a “stupid c**t.” Thanks for the clarification. Dorit feels like Camille always needs a moment, but Camille reminds us all that Dorit keeps everyone waiting so she can have own personal photo shoots. (Where is the lie?) Dorit wonders why Camille is even there: what does she need? A moment?
While making a point about how Dorit has changed, Camille forgets Erika’s name. Sutton tries to round out the convo by reminding Sutton that she will always be there for her, but Dorit feels like actions speak louder than words. She doesn’t feel like Sutton gives a sh*t about being a good friend, but will certainly try to act like a good friend. Great party, Kyle!
