Ben Affleck felt “blessed” to spend Thanksgiving with ex-wife Jennifer Garner and their kids, a source exclusively tells Page Six.
According to our insider, the “Batman” star — who is going through a divorce from Jennifer Lopez — feels like he “can just be himself” around the “13 Going on 30” actress.
Affleck and Garner, both 52, partnered up with the Midnight Mission during the day to help feed 2,000 homeless and near-homeless people in downtown Los Angeles.
Following the philanthropic event, a source tells Page Six that the former couple “enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner together” with their three children: Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12.
“Even though Ben and Jen have been split for a while now, he feels a certain level of comfort with her,” the insider adds.
“Ben has a strong relationship with Jen that will never dissipate because they have a lot of history together and she’s the mother of his kids.”
Affleck was married to Garner for 10 years, from 2005 until 2015. The two have remained amicable while co-parenting their three kids.
Our source notes that this is “not the first time” the exes have celebrated Thanksgiving together since their split, however.
“They’ll always be close because they share children together and maintain a friendly co-parenting relationship.”
Affleck and Garner’s Thanksgiving reunion comes three months after Lopez, 55, filed for divorce from the Oscar winner — notably on the second anniversary of their Georgia wedding ceremony, which they held after eloping in Las Vegas on July 17, 2022.
The singer celebrated the holiday at home this year, posting a solo snap with her turkey via Instagram on Friday.
“I hope everybody had a beautiful and Happy Thanksgiving,” she wrote to her 250 million followers. “I am so incredibly grateful for all of you.”
Reps for Affleck and Garner did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
